Steve Smith is an LA based singer/songwriter. Steve grew up in Iowa and was musically influenced by The Beatles, Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, Fleetwood Mac & the legendary Judy Garland. Upon Steve's arrival in LA, he worked as a tour guide & paralegal while pursuing his career. Steve works with Grammy nominated musician, Larry Treadwell & they have recently released the CD 'Dream Wicked.' 'Dream Wicked' features songs written by Steve and features the work of great LA musicians. Steve works with vocal coach, Rosemary Butler (James Taylor, Jackson Browne & Linda Ronstadt). Steve is a part of the repertory troupe, Grassroots Acoustica, a monthly singer/songwriter showcase that raises money for local Los Angeles charities. During the holidays, Steve sings with the National In-Choir, which includes the best of LA musicians. Steve is an active member of ASCAP.
